"Becoming a full-time, earth-friendly collage artist doesn't have to be hard or expensive work. All you need is your neighbor's, a best friend's, or a family member's old magazines. You will also need a cutting board, an X-Acto knife, and some glue sticks. You need hope, inner motivation, an end goal, and friends.
At the age of 21, I was diagnosed with glaucoma, my IOP was 40 in both eyes, and I was told that without starting treatment I would be completely blind in less than five years. Glaucoma was both the worst and best thing to ever happen to me.
At the age of 23, I'm now a full-time collage artist, and I have successfully created my heaven inside of a 400-square-foot art studio alongside a dog and a cat. I'm living on the waterfront in Portland, Oregon. Welcome to my full-time collage artist heaven that I created with the help of you and others."
